Steering Column Lock Endurance Tester

This general accessory testing machine is designed to accept a steering column for a large commercial truck and load it through a programmable region of motion. The locking mechanism will also be released whether it be a hand lever or foot pedal and will tilt and telescope the column through the programmed range. The machine can also lock the mechanism and force column against the lock.
The machine will record the number of cycles and loads and will stop if the brake mechanism starts to fail or if excesive amounts of force are required to push the release pedal or move the column. The machine is portable on casters and run on conventional wall power for maximum portability.
