Bearing Endurance Tester

This transmission testing machine is used for developing a variety of bearings for automotive use. The tester has two identical stations and is designed to drive the bearings to programmable high speeds. During the rotation, the bearings are side loaded and end loaded at programmable loads and rates. Loading is closed loop controlled with feedback from load cells on the actuators. The machine records vibration, load and torque data while operating for extended periods of time.

Oil is circulated through the bearing as it would in its final application and the machine is designed to shut down on a bearing failure. The fixture design is universal to handle a wide range of bearing types and sizes.
