|Description:||We are looking for an individual to work as controls engineer to program the machines that we build in Novi, Michigan. The machines are all related to functional production testing of products and use high technology. Additionally this individual may also design control schematics if able. It is possible that travel be involved for 3-5 day intervals a few times per year. This indiviual would work with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical engineers, machine builders and electricians on a regular basis. Programming activities would take place at your desk and then be debugged on our clean, state of the art shop floor.|
|Duties:||Program the machine control, robots, and HMI data aquisition. Training customer on how to use the equipment. Develop electrical drawings in AutoCAD if capable. Communicate with customer and establish scope of work through a software specification.|
|Qualifications:||A programmer/Electrical engineer who is good with his hands and has good communication skills. Practical experience and knowledge of the following is important: – Siemens Step 7, Allen Bradley PLC programming – Labview Programming is a plus – Robot or Laser programming is a plus – Understanding the manufacturing environment – Communicating with people – Knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical is a big plus – Using measurement instruments such as a multimeter or oscilloscope – Good debugging/troubleshooting skills – Good Overall PC Computer knowledge You will: – Learn something every day – Need to meet deadlines – Represent the company in a positive manner – Work with like individuals|
|Description:||We are looking for an individual to create custom user interfaces for the unique specialty machines and systems that we build. We also have a core library that this individual would use and continue to develop for rudimentary, reoccurring needs. The applications can be quite graphical and often involve communication with other devices such as bar code scanners, laser markers, PLC’s, engine controller, robots and more. In some cases the application may also collect high speed DAQ data or control a machine.
You will spend time at your desk or on our clean climate conditioned production floor and are guaranteed to learn something new every day. You will collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, other software engineers and hydraulic engineers to make sure that your application meets the needs.
As a secondary function, there will be the opportunity to grow into PLC, robot, Laser and other device programming if you desire.
|Duties:||Design and implement HMI interface in C# on the Microsoft visual Studio platform. There is opportunity to program PLC’s, robots, lasers, vision systems and other devices if desired. You may, train the customer on how to use the equipment. Communicate with customer and establish scope of work through a software specification.|
|Qualifications:||Practical experience and knowledge of the following is important: Strong C# Background, Winforms, writing robust, reusable code, XML parsing, storing and retrieving data from files, using a version control system|
|Description:||We are looking for an individual to work as mechanical engineer to design the machines that we build on site. The machines are all related to functional production testing of products and use high technology. This indiviual would work with hydraulic, controls and electrical engineers, machine builders and electricians on a regular basis. Design activities would involve fixture tooling and sheet metal cabinetry. You would be responsible for overseeing the correct assembly and operation of your creation on our clean, state of the art shop floor.|
|Duties:||Design precision tooling, end effectors, automation and machine cabinetry using Autodesk Inventor. Communicate with customer in a project lead role, maintain Gantt Charts, communicate with your team.|
|Qualifications:||A mechanical engineer who is creative and has a knowledge of automotive engine compnents. Practical experience and knowledge of the following is important: Software pacakages such as 3D Parametric design using Autodesk Inventor, Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project – Understanding the manufacturing environment – Communicating with people – Good debugging/troubleshooting skills – Familiarity with hydraulics is a plus – You will: – Learn something everyday – Work overtime occasionally with pay – Need to meet deadlines – Represent the company in a positive manner – Work with like individuals|
